The approval chain is built around your real organization.
If a department (legal, say) has no one authorized, approval falls automatically to the manager, and from there to the company owner if needed; the system reflects your own organizational structure without you having to build the chain yourself.
Working hours, company-wide or person by person.
You define your company's general working hours, and set a separate schedule for individual employees if you'd like; task durations and the calendar are calculated against that schedule.
You invite your team, you set their authority.
When you invite a new team member, you decide their role and department authority; who can approve what, and who can see what, always stays in your control.
